Intro to Needle Felting

Join us for a DIY Mushroom Felting workshop! 

Get ready to get creative! In this fun DIY workshop, you'll learn the basics of needle felting and craft two adorable felted mushrooms to take home. No experience necessary – just bring your enthusiasm! You get to bring home your new set of felting tools to continue the project if you don't finish in the allotted time, or to continue your new hobby! 

We’re excited to welcome you into our workshop space located at 5-2501 Alyth Road SE, where you’ll enjoy a 2.5 hour interactive class. Please see the map for location details as all workshops are held at Plant Plant (our sister shop) just minutes away from our mainstreet Inglewood location. 

Date: Sunday September 14 @ 10 AM 

Location: Plant Plant, 5-2501 Alyth Road SE, Calgary, AB  T2G 1P7

Cost: $85 per person + GST 

Length: The class will last for about 2.5 hours

The workshop includes:

• Step-by-step guide to creating two unique felted mushrooms
• Tips and tricks for beginner needle felting 
• All materials : an assortment of felts, felting needle, foam pad, ceramic display tray, decorative mosses. 
• Cold or hot drinks depending on the time of day

Is there parking?
Yes! Our Plant Plant location has plenty of free parking right outside the front door. 

Where is the workshop space located?
Our workshop space is located in our sister shop Plant Plant, located at 5-2501 Alyth Road SE. Please see the map here. It is just minutes away from our flagship store in the heart of Inglewood. 

Are the tickets refundable?
Unfortunately, all workshop tickets are non-refundable. Please note we do not offer refund, or credits for seasonal workshops. 

What if I need to change my date?
Unfortunately seasonal classes cannot be rescheduled or credited due to their seasonality. All ticket sales are final. 

Can Children attend? We recommend all participants be 12 and up for this event as we are dealing with sharp objects, wires, and scissors. Children must have their own ticket for the event and cannot share a ticket with an adult. Caution: felting needles are very sharp.
